EQTEC PLC is a developer of clean energy infrastructure focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and wastes through gasification technologies. The company provides solutions to manage rising levels of waste and meet the growing demand for clean energy the group design and supplies state of the art gasification solutions and have a higher efficiency product offering that is modular and scalable from 1MW to 30MW and the solutions produce synthesis gas (syngas), that can be used for the widest applications in the generation of clean energy, hydrogen, and biofuels, enabling the Net Zero Future through exceptional solutions for hydrogen, biofuels, SNG, and other energy production.

EQTEC announced a strategic expansion into capital-light exposure to complementary resource assets central to electrification, including critical and precious metals, while continuing its gasification focus. It outlined shared end markets and circular economy alignment. It will prioritise opportunities that are cash-generative or near-term, capital-light, in established jurisdictions, and positioned for improvement through operational discipline, with an active pipeline under evaluation.
EQTEC is in advanced discussions with lenders on restructuring existing debt facilities to deleverage, improve liquidity and align the capital structure with the broadened strategy; terms are not final. Recent leadership appointments with extractive industry backgrounds were made. David Palumbo will move to Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect and remain chairman until a successor is appointed.
