Helium One Global said it concluded electrical submersible pump testing at its southern Rukwa project in Tanzania with no lost-time injuries. During the test period, the programme produced water and flow rates increased compared with natural flow seen in an earlier extended well test. Reported surface helium concentration reached a maximum with a sustained level during continuous flow, and the average gas-water ratio was measured.
The company said it is ready to begin a farmout process to identify and select an industry partner. It plans to commence partner discussions and seek external investment, and will schedule further testing at additional targets within the fractured basement.
