Harbour Energy PLC is an independent upstream oil and gas company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development, and production of oil and natural gas reserves. The operating segments are divided geographically and managed across nine business units: namely Norway, UK, Germany, Mexico, Argentina, North Africa, Southeast Asia, CCS and Corporate. The CCS segment includes Denmark. The majority of the company's revenue is derived from the sale of crude oil in Norway.
BASF launched and completed an accelerated secondary placing of existing Harbour Energy shares, reducing its shareholding. The placing size was increased, with Morgan Stanley Europe SE as sole bookrunner. Harbour Energy was not a party to the transaction and will not receive proceeds. BASF’s remaining shares are subject to a lock-up period following closing.
EnQuest reported that Harbour Energy is expected to replace Waldorf as its field partner for the Kraken reservoir.
