Sound Energy agreed to sell its 20% Tendrara interest to Managem via the sale of Sound Energy Merijada, expecting USD57m proceeds. A subsidiary will relinquish its 27.5% Anoual interest and waive rights in Grand Tendrara. Proceeds are earmarked to redeem EUR28.8m 5.0% senior secured notes due December 2027, subject to shareholder and Moroccan approvals. The 2025 loss attributable to the assets sold was estimated at USD1.0m.
First gas from Tendrara is anticipated in Q3 2026; the Phase II FID remains under evaluation by joint venture partners. The company reported a 2025 pretax loss of GBP22.3m, no revenue, and GBP12.8m of impairments. If the sale completes on July 31, it expects to be debt free with USD11m cash.
