What's New in ShareScript v1.2
We are delighted to announce a new release of ShareScript in version 5.5 of ShareScope Plus/Pro. ShareScript v1.2 sees the addition of two key enhancements - Studies and Tools - aimed to give users more functionality and greater flexibility than ever before.
There are also a number of minor improvements in ShareScript v1.2. For a full list, see the latest edition of the ShareScript Reference Guide.
Chart Studies
You can now create a range of chart studies in the latest version of ShareScript. Chart studies are a flexible and powerful way to add new features to a graph screen and which allow greater interaction with existing features.
Below are just a few examples illustrating the flexibility provided by chart studies.
In our first example, a miniature historical chart is drawn at the top right of the intraday graph screen. By clicking on the mini-chart you can also change the timescale:

In our next example, a ShareScript chart study has added a volume profile on a historical chart, where the relative volume traded at each price level is plotted as a horizontal bar:

Chart studies can be uploaded and shared with other users via a fully supported ShareScript Library on this website.
Tools
Another key enhancement in ShareScript v1.2 is the addition of Tools - allowing you to create stand-alone scripts for general purpose actions such as exporting data in a custom format or analysing your portfolios. Previously, this was only possible via the ShareScript console window.
As with Chart Studies, the ShareScript Library provides access to scripts created by us and other members, which can then be downloaded and imported into your copy of ShareScope.
