Senior C/C++ Developers to 40k

A good numerate science degree (at least 2:1). Strong C/C++ coding skills with at least 2 years commercial C/C++ development experience, ideally using Visual Studio and MFC.

Successful applicants will have a passion for computers with exposure or interest in TCP/IP network programming, an understanding of data compression techniques and an interest in the financial markets.

System administration skills would also be an advantage.

Graduate C/C++ Developers to 25k

The Role

Ionic Information requires software developers for its award-winning ShareScope stock market analysis software. You will be working mainly in an MS windows environment but are required to be flexible in technology with web development a distinct possibility.

Core Skills

  • A good Computer Science or AI degree (at least a 2.1)
  • Strong software development and coding skills, preferably using C/C++
  • A passion for computers

Other Desirable Skills

  • C/C++ Application development using Microsoft Visual Studio and either MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes) or Win32.
  • An understanding of data compression techniques
  • An interest in the financial markets and financial calculation
  • An interest in GUI design
  • SQL, Java, JavaScript, Linux
